Australia 2015: The Sellicks Beach, South Australia Gravel Ride VIDEO

January 19, 2015, I did an amazing gravel ride that covered areas from Willunga to Sellicks Beach and back.  You can read that ride report HERE.

    Awesome video! Beatiful scenery, I think my favorite part, was seeing the kangaroo. That was amazing! I assume folks drive on the opposite side of the road, compared to here? I would have been in trouble, riding there! I tend to be forgetful and perhaps, end up in trouble! 🙂

      Hi Cheryl,

      Yes, we drive and ride on the opposite side of the road in Australia. Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the UK and a few other places have their roads setup in this manner. Additionally, cars are right hand drive. It can be challenging for foreign visitors! As an example, I took my friends Mr and Mrs K-Dogg to Adelaide, Australia in May of 2011. They had a rough time getting their heads around descending on the other side of the road, and roundabouts. My advice to them was, stick to my wheel like glue 🙂 Consequently, I did all of the driving on that trip.
