Lone Pine, California, is a small town in Inyo County along U.S. Highway 395. Home to about 2,000 people, it sits in the Owens Valley between the Sierra Nevada and the Inyo Mountains. It serves as the gateway to Mount Whitney and the Alabama Hills.

Nice one. Just North of that is the #3 hardest climb, White Mountain.
I did part of it on a gravel bike and was underbiked. 2.4 tires with suspension is a lot better! (Or FS mtb)
I have two more videos to come from Lone Pine, including the actual WTF event video. I will say, Mt Whitney crushed me, so glad I rode the 70 mile variant at Phil’s event earlier this year.
