After 10 years with the company, Evan Ngo is officially joining Rudi Jung as co-owner of Black Magic Paint. Together, they will continue the tradition of providing exceptional finish work and bringing craftsmanship and attention to detail to every project.
Evan joined Black Magic at a pivotal time, when Rudi was in the hospital recovering from a motorcycle accident. His path into the industry began with painting cars, but after seeing the many custom and unique bikes in Portland, he was inspired to explore a different side of painting.
That interest eventually led him to Speedvagen, where he developed many of the foundational skills he brings to his work today.
Evan has a deep appreciation for both the technical process of painting and the details that make a finish truly stand out. For him, there is something especially rewarding about the entire process of taking an object from start to finish and making it look its best.
We’re excited for this next chapter for Black Magic Paint and to see what Evan and Rudi continue to create together!
