A look at the latest iteration of the No. 22 Bicycle Company Reactor Aero
“No. 22 Bicycle Company unveiled the highly anticipated Reactor Aero ‘V2’ at the MADE Bike Show in Portland in August of 2025. The No. 22 team have worked tirelessly to refine the design and production methodology to a finished product that is nearing production form.” – No. 22 Bicycle Company

Reactor V2 Updates & Improvements
- Complete overhaul of the aerodynamic form and profiling in response to the UCI’s latest guidelines.
- Bespoke, intricately designed and machined, titanium and carbon bar/stem combo and headset.
- New aerodynamically refined seat tube and custom titanium seatpost utilizing a novel approach to rider comfort and aerodynamics.
- Most crucially, a partnership with industry leading 3D sintering partner, RAM3D of New Zealand. Together both brands have created a 3D printed “Parts Kit” which will be fully welded, aligned, and assembled by No. 22 in their New York facility to exacting standards.

Steps to be completed before final production include:
- Wind tunnel testing to validate the current CFD modeling and refine the bike’s aerodynamic properties.
- Structural and ride quality testing to ensure the bike delivers titanium’s hallmark feel and durability.
- Finalize production of Ti and carbon fiber components.

“The Reactor has always been the most race-oriented road frame in the No. 22 lineup, and the Reactor Aero is the world’s first truly aero-optimized titanium race machine. Developed in-house and subject to multiple CFD simulations, the Reactor Aero is scheduled for wind tunnel testing and validation before launch. Testing to date confirms 30-40% drag reduction when compared to the current Reactor. As with all of our models, every piece of the frameset is either made by or specifically for the brand, providing an unrivaled level of control and precision in the manufacturing process.”

Some of this technology may trickle down to No. 22’s Gravel Bikes in the future? Stay tuned!
