“Gawler, established in 1839, is the oldest country town in the state of South Australia. It was named after the second Governor of the colony of South Australia, George Gawler. It is about 40–44 km north of the state capital, Adelaide, and is close to the major wine producing district of the Barossa Valley.” – Wikipedia

In this video, JOM of the Gravel Cyclist crew rides a route starting and ending in Gawler, South Australia. South Australia is the home state of JOM, namely a suburb within the city of Adelaide. During this gravel cycling adventure, the route visits the towns of Wasleys, Hamley Bridge, Stockport, and Freeling.

This course is approximately 90 kilometres in length with about 617 metres, or about 2,000 feet of elevation. Because this course inadvertently traversed some private property, it won’t be shared with the public. 1,000 humble apologies, including to the land owner’s whose properties JOM traversed. It should be noted, no property, flora or fauna were harmed during the recording of this video.
JOM’s review bike in this video is the Ari Shafer 3.0, see this link for details of this bike!
