Colorado Front Range Gravel
“The Front Range is the easternmost major mountain range of the Southern Rocky Mountains in North America, located in Colorado and Wyoming. It’s a prominent geographical feature that rises from the Great Plains, serving as a backdrop to cities like Denver and Boulder and containing some of the state’s highest peaks, such as Pikes Peak and Longs Peak. The range also defines a major population center, the Front Range Urban Corridor, which is home to over 5 million people and extends from Pueblo, Colorado, to Cheyenne, Wyoming.”

Starting and ending near Castle Rock, Colorado, this route is challenging with the altitude for those from the flatter lands, but the climbs are not long or steep enough to be extremely troublesome. However, with almost 4,000 feet of climbing over 80+ kms / 50+ miles, there is still plenty of challenge, along with excellent scenery along parts of this course. Highly recommended!
