VeloPigs announce the second annual “pig-nic” and club fundraiser to be held Sunday, September 22, at Wheatland Spring Farm and Brewery in Waterford, Virginia. Organized group rides will begin at 10AM EST followed by “pig-nic” festivities starting at 1PM EST. This year’s event features food from Farm Belly, live music, raffle prizes, and an opportunity to visit with cycling and wellness vendors, event directors, and special guests.
VeloPigs founder, Kasey Clark, envisions this year’s event as a “mini-gravel festival and a test run for a bigger event in years to come.” Pig-nic organizers are proud to announce a substantial expansion for 2024, including sponsorships and donations from: Cannondale, Shimano, Voler, Plum Grove Cyclery, GRUSK, Dirty Kitten, Rockbridge Gravel Grinder, Roughneck Roubaix, Bike the Gravel (Land Trust of Virginia), Purple Lizard Maps, Routewerks, The Bike Lane, The Gravel Cyclist, America’s Routes, EX2 Adventures, Elite Wellness, Hilton Tysons Corner, and The Appalachian Journey.
VeloPigs have planned a memorable day out for all – non-cyclists, families, and friends are welcome to pack a picnic blanket and enjoy a day outside in scenic Loudoun County, Virginia.
Tickets are available on EventBrite at https://tinyurl.com/Pig-nic All proceeds from the raffle and ticket sales support the VeloPigs.
