The 354-page collector’s book features rare archival material, untold stories, iconic bikes, and a new look at how Trek helped shape modern cycling. – Trek Bikes

Created to mark Trek’s 50th anniversary, the book offers the most complete and intimate look yet at one of the bike industry’s most enduring brands — from its unlikely beginning in a red barn in Waterloo, Wisconsin, to its influence on racing, design, advocacy, sustainability, and the next generation of riders.

Built from hundreds of hours of interviews, decades of archival material, and stories gathered from former employees, athletes, retailers, and collaborators, the book reveals a side of Trek that has never been told in full.

Many of the stories in this book were nearly lost to time, preserved in personal archives, old photo albums, garages, and the memories of the people who lived them. With their help, Trek brought those pieces together to tell a fuller, more human history of its first 50 years.

The book includes the untold history of Trek’s founding, including new perspective from co-founder Bevil Hogg, who helped start the company with Dick Burke in 1976. It also features 50 of the most meaningful stories from Trek’s first 50 years and 50 standout bikes that helped shape the brand and the industry.
