New show dates: March 16–17, 2024 – Expo remains at Pennsylvania Convention Center

Philly Bike Expo, the USA’s leading–and funnest–consumer bicycle show, is rapidly filling exhibitor booth spaces as the event approaches its new calendar slot, March 16–17, 2024. Note: the date has changed from fall, but the venue remains the magnificent naturally-lit Hall E in the centrally located Pennsylvania Convention Center.

The Philly Bike Expo ethos is rock-steady, continuing as it has done since 2010 to celebrate cycling in all its forms and including all myriad communities across the board from small manufacturers and custom frame builders to large companies. Alongside this grand expo are seminars, workshops and clinics covering bike tech, advocacy, lifestyle & culture, lively evening social events, and of course a rich selection of rides and childrens’ activities. What better way to start the cycling season?”

Expo director Bina Bilenky said, “You can feel the expectation ramping up here in Philly, the Squad members are lining up both fun and challenging rides to help clean out the cobwebs, and among industry exhibitors the sense of excitement and readiness for this spring date is showing up as several more first-time companies taking booths. The spring date was always our preference and we can’t wait to kick off the cycling season in mid-March!”

“Attendees will be treated to a dazzling array of exciting companies exhibiting at the expo for the first time, which as of January 16 include: Appleman Bicycles, Bassi Bikes, Bikepacking Roots, Bourbon Burn, Brooks England, Brompton Bicycles, Cognitive Switch, Grava Adventure Corp, Hikes and Hose, Hope Technology, July Bicycles, Küat Racks, Onyx Racing Products, Memento Cycles, Pinebury, and Varlo Sports.”

The B2B pre-show activity is as lively as ever, with exhibitors already networking to take advantage of the synergistic opportunities of strategic product placement in complimentary booths.”

Growing from its roots in the handbuilt custom frame industry, Philly Bike Expo is excited to announce an additional sponsor and expanded Framebuilder Inclusivity Scholarship program, which started in 2019. Industry Nine has added to the support of founding sponsor SRAM, and expo organizers are expecting an awesome showcase of new talent. Paragon Machine Works is supporting the initiative with its high-grade frame building parts and accessories. Four new builders in total will display bikes, three from the USA and one from Mexico: Significant Other Bikes, Shovel Research, Studio Basica, and Artefact x NMW.”

The Squad

The PBE Squad is a dynamic grassroots movement among cyclists that represent and share the values of Philly Bike Expo. This means maximizing the stoke and spreading the love of cycling equally in all disciplines, at all levels and in every community. The Squad is not concerned about speed, or distance, type of bike, riding surface, location, or who you ride with–those are all secondary. The mission is the love of the ride, and spreading that love to others.
