Epoché is the Greek philosophical term for “suspension of judgment”, and with their all-new second-generation Epoché G2 lineup, Lōgōs has created wheels that defy categorization.

Available in g2, g2 Dynamo, and g2 SL (Superlight) variants, the expanded lineup is optimized for modern road and gravel riding, pairing broader internal widths with deeper rim profles to support the full range of modern higher-volume performance tires. Like all Lōgōs products, these wheels feature the proven open architecture, lifetime warranty, and transferable lifetime incident protection and support that have earned the brand a loyal and growing ridership.

Epoché SL G2 – Race-Day Light. Still Built Right.

Joining the recently-released 1240g Gida SL G2 XC in Lōgōs’ new Podium tier of race-focused products, Epoché SL G2 pushes the limits of lightweight performance without compromising Lōgōs’ commitment to lifetime durability and serviceability.

Wider and deeper than the original with thicker sidewalls for added impact resistance, the new SL sheds 70g to come in at just 1295g. Impressively, the team achieved this reduction in weight while preserving the proven dual-spring star ratchet hub architecture, hooked asymmetric rim design, 24-spoke 2-cross lacing, and external brass nipples that made its predecessor a favorite of riders and mechanics alike.

“Riders of our frst-generation Epoché ranged from dyed-in-the-wool roadies to gravel racers and adventurers wanting something light, durable, and versatile,” says Lōgōs co-founder Randall Jacobs. “While Epoché SL is a race-optimized product, we refused to sacrifce the long-term reliability, adaptability, and serviceability our riders rely on us for.”

Epoché G2: Ready For Everything

Lōgōs’ best-selling wheelset returns stronger and more capable than ever. Identical to the SL but with a slightly beefer rim profle and 28 J-bend spokes laced 3-cross to similarly updated arche|os g2 hubs, Epoché g2 delivers added strength and durability without sacrifcing speed. Built tough at a race-ready 1395g, Epoché G2 is built for riders who push the limits on road, gravel, or bikepacking adventures.

Epoché G2 Dynamo: A High-Performance Powerhouse

For endurance racers, bikepackers, and speed commuters wanting power-generation without compromise, Lōgōs has teamed up with Shutter Precision to deliver a dynamo version of the Epoché g2.

At the heart of this setup is SP’s lightweight 375g PL-7 dynamo front hub, providing a steady fow of electricity for lights, head units, and device chargers. Ready-to-ride at just 1665g, this dynamo- equipped version of the Epoché G2 wheelset maintains all the strength, versatility, and rock-solid DNA of the Epoché G2 while adding a critical layer of self-sufficiency for riders who go farther.

An All-New Rim For Those Ready To Go Big

The all-new rim profle, shared across all variants, is optimized for today’s generation of higher-volume rubber. On the road, it allows fast-rolling 32mm tires, increasingly common in the pro peloton, to expand to 35mm for improved comfort, grip, and effciency at lower pressures. At the same time, increasing depth to 36.5mm delivers an aerodynamic edge while maintaining confdence-inspiring crosswind stability. Off-road, it easily supports tires well beyond the 700×50mm that a growing number of gravel bikes can accommodate, with reinforced sidewalls to enhance impact resistance on rough, rocky terrain.

2.3mm of asymmetry enables higher and more balanced spoke tensions that increase lateral stiffness while reducing spoke fatigue for a responsive build that stays truer, longer. New layups enhance strength-to-weight through an increased use of high-modulus carbon outside of impact zones and a new individual nipple seat reinforcement pattern eliminating non-structural material between spoke holes. Despite their added width, depth, and impact resistance, both rims arrive lighter than the already lightweight 1st generation Epoché rim.

“With gravel bikes now clearing 700×50mm+ and even UCI ProTour road bikes supporting 700×32+, riders of all disciplines are discovering the benefts of wider rubber,” notes Jacobs.

“We wanted our newest all-road and gravel offerings to provide a versatile platform for any tire riders could want to run without weighing them down or compromising on the durability or serviceability we’re known for. This meant increasing internal width while maintaining the original’s external width to keep the rim’s sidewalls protected behind the tire in rougher terrain. It also meant adding a bit of depth for aerodynamics while preserving stability in a crosswind.”

The World’s Most Reliable Hub Architecture – Made Even Better

Built on the same proven dual-spring star ratchet architecture patented by Hugi in the 90s and later popularized by DT Swiss, the new g2 platform utilizes high-strength alloys and time-intensive machining to achieve new milestones in lightweight strength, reliability, and lifetime serviceability.

Reliable Hub Architecture

Dropping 46g relative to the already svelte first generation arché|os hubset, the new Podium-level arché|os SL G2 comes in at a feathery 295g/set (or less with the virtually-indestructible Enduro XD-15 ceramic-hybrid bearing option). Meanwhile, the new Omnium-level variant drops to just 335g despite a switch from the original straight-pull to their updated J-bend design.

Preserving Grams that Count

Opting for 24 to 28 Sapim CX-Rays laced 2 or 3-cross with external brass nipples adds a few grams relative to the lower spoke counts and lighter aluminum alloy nipples found on many competing wheelsets. However, riders benefit from enhanced durability, serviceability, and responsiveness—with reduced maintenance and lifetime cost-of-ownership (just ask anyone who’s had to true a wheel with hidden nipples or rebuild a wheel due to corroded, stripped, or seized AL nipples).
