The London framebuilder introduces its first production gravel bike, bringing years of custom craftsmanship to a wider audience.

Rob Quirk founded Quirk Cycles in Hackney, London in 2015. Since then he has spent over a decade designing and refining custom bicycles that balance performance with simplicity. After years of exploring how a bike can ride off-road, Quirk Cycles launches its first full production gravel bike: the Kegety.

The Kegety follows the same batch process introduced in March with the Mamtor (Road) and Durmitor (Race) framesets. Using the most advanced Columbus Life steel tubing combined with signature 3D-printed headtube, Seat Cluster and Dropouts, every decision on the Kegety is one Rob Quirk can explain. The Kegety distills years of custom gravel bike development into a production frameset designed to deliver a repeatable ride quality. Drawing on modern gravel bike geometry, the Kegety gives stability when loaded or moving fast over broken ground without feeling dull on the road.

I originally designed the Kegety for the inaugural Silk Road Mountain Race, to explore how capable a gravel bike could be on genuinely rough terrain. I learnt a lot from that experience, and it shaped a bike that marries stability with responsiveness when the terrain becomes truly demanding.

The Kegetry concentrates on essentials: 1x drivetrain specific frame to maximise the 50mm tyre clearance and enhanced season-round usability with integrated low-profile mudguard mounts. Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH), T47 Bottom Bracket and electronic-only groupset compatibility feature as standard. This is paired with ENVE’s Gravel In-Route fork and colour-matched cockpit integration. Standard colourways include: Verde Gea Luicdo, Hyperion Azzuro and Creighton Brown.

Available online now for dispatch in October, this limited quantity frameset batch is priced at £4,999 in six standard sizes ranging between XS – XL. Framekits are £5,699 and complete bikes start at £10,550.
