Proven Durability meets Modern Versatility

The Hobo stays true to its purpose: a bike for everyday use that’s ready for more. Its construction is still based on the well-known steel frame, which intentionally contrasts with a high-performance carbon fork. This combination gives the bike lively handling and solid riding comfort.

Hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano ensure controlled braking regardless of weather or terrain. At the same time, 14 mounting points on the frame and fork offer various options for attaching gear directly to the bike. The standard front rack serves as the central starting point.

Those who want to expand the bike’s range will find mounting points for a kickstand and fenders. Tire clearance of up to 55 mm also allows for adjustments depending on the route—from narrower setups for city riding to wider tires for off-road excursions.

New Model “Hobo Cues” & Color “Cotton Candy”

The flatbar gravel bike “Hobo” now comes with a striking new color combination and a standard front rack. With these updates, Rose Bikes positions the Hobo as an everyday gravel bike that effortlessly bridges the gap between daily practicality and individual lifestyle.

The Hobo Cues replaces the previous models and forms the new foundation of a single-product approach. Technically, Rose relies on the Shimano Cues drivetrain with a 1×10 setup. The “Cotton Candy” color combination creates a visual highlight that underscores the Hobo’s modern vibe. The Hobo brings color into the mix and shows that robust materials and classic lines are anything but boring.

More Flexibility On The Go

With the Hobo front rack, including two transport straps, additional storage space is now part of the standard equipment. At 13.0 kg, the bike remains light enough for longer rides or spontaneous adventures.

Rose has taken customer feedback to heart and adjusted the cockpit: a narrower handlebar noticeably changes the riding position and makes navigation easier—whether on forest paths or through the urban jungle. The reduced width of 680 mm provides more freedom of movement without sacrificing control.

Beyond that, the setup proves versatile. The combination of Rose G30 650B wheels and 47 mm all-round gravel tires responds to different surfaces with consistent rolling behavior. On asphalt, gravel, or anything in between—the ride remains predictable and encourages riders to leave their usual route behind.

“We love the Hobo because it’s simple and expressive. Even though many people will ride it in the city, it’s fully capable of serious gravel riding. The Hobo doesn’t need to hide when it comes to bikepacking trips or gravel rides,” says Anatol Sostmann, Director Product & Brand at Rose Bikes.
