Complementing the flagship DOGMA X, the second-genera on X SERIES is purposely built to maximize rider comfort on everyday road surfaces. Developed for cyclists who value the pure riding experience over chasing seconds on a climb, the lineup sets itself apart from the DOGMA X with its refined geometry, differentiated carbon structure, and increased load capabilities.
The bikes have undergone a profound technical evolution, bringing WorldTour-proven design principles that broaden the reach of the Pinarello brand without compromising its legendary craftsmanship, prestige, and quality.
X-Stays 2.0
Taking cues from the DOGMA X, the X SERIES has enhanced the effectiveness of its bespoke double-arm, four-point top-stays. The revamped design and lower a attachment points disperse road vibrations more efficiently, while the lower linkage also minimizes rebound to deliver a smoother, more controlled ride.
Tuned Carbon Performance
The X SERIES is available in three different types of carbon fiber to best serve different riders’ needs. The top- er X9 and X7 models utilize the premium Torayca T900 layup to provide the ideal balance of responsiveness, weight and vibration absorption, while the X5 and X3 models feature a T700 carbon optimized for responsiveness and reactivity but with a greater vibration damping capacity. The X1 is produced from a T600 structure featuring a unidirectional finish which also prioritizes compliance.
Engineered to Absorb
Complementing the tuned carbon frames is a new adaptive seat post that delivers 10mm of longitudinal flex. This seat post is lighter and more efficient than its predecessor when it comes to absorbing harsh vibrations and impacts, working in unison with the X-STAYS to serve up an ultra-smooth ride.
Integrated Storage
Embracing the practical needs of long-distance cyclists, the new range debuts an integrated access port in the down tube housing a custom, compact tool bag. This solution allows riders to securely store essentials, inner tubes, and nutrition directly into the frame, without compromising the bike’s clean design or performance.
Enhanced Control
A key technical advancement across the X9, X7, X5, and X3 models is the introduction of an elliptical steering tube, now encompassing fully integrated front cable routing. This evolved design significantly improves torsional stiffness and front-end precision, resulting in more confident handling and greater stability – especially on long descents and rough terrain.
The X1 maintains the previous-genera on X SERIES frame architecture. This deliberate choice retains complete compatibility with traditional mechanical groupsets.
Expanded Tire Clearance
To provide ultimate versatility across varied road surfaces, the X SERIES features an expanded re clearance up to 40mm, allowing riders to take full advantage of modern tubeless-ready technology for superior grip, control and vibration absorption on a multitude of terrain. The frame is also fully compatible with SRAM’s Universal Derailleur Hanger.
Unchanged Geometry
The geometry of the new range is one of the few elements that remains unchanged from the previous generation – longer, higher and more comfortable than the DOGMA X – offering the perfect balance of efficiency and all-day comfort.
