Gravel bikes have changed quickly. As tires got bigger and terrain got rougher, the Routt moved with them. Today it’s built around a 50mm tire, with room for considerably more. – Moots

At the other end of the spectrum, the Vamoots remains what it has always been: a dedicated road bike. That left an important space between the two.

County Line fills it.

Designed around a 38mm tire, it’s made for rides that move naturally between pavement and fast, well-maintained dirt roads. More tire, stability, and control than a traditional road bike, without the size, gearing, or off-road emphasis of a modern gravel bike.

Built around Steamboat.

The roads around Steamboat rarely stay one thing for long.

A ride can start on pavement, turn onto miles of smooth county-road gravel, and finish back on asphalt without ever feeling like a gravel ride. Those roads have shaped the bikes we build here for decades.

County Line is built specifically for that kind of riding.

Its 38mm tire platform adds speed, grip, and comfort on dirt and broken pavement while retaining the efficiency and familiar feel of a road bike. The geometry adds confidence on loose surfaces without making the bike slow or cumbersome on pavement.

Pavement, county roads, and everything that connects them.

Balanced across Surfaces.

County Line is designed to feel quick and responsive on pavement, with more stability and control than a traditional road bike when the surface gets loose.

The 38mm tire platform adds grip and comfort without the weight and volume of a modern gravel setup, while road gearing and relatively short 42.5cm chainstays keep the bike efficient and lively under power.
