Czech bicycle manufacturer Repete introduces the new steel gravel model G3: Verne. Refining a concept proven over seven years of riding, the bike delivers what riders in this segment seek most: a balance between speed on tarmac and confidence on unpaved surfaces. The G3: Verne arrives with fully integrated cable routing, UDH standard compatibility, and continues to rely on precise handcraft in Prague. – Repete Website

The philosophy behind the G3: Verne is a lively ride character and responsive handling. The frame is purposefully optimized for tire widths from 35 to 45 mm. This choice made it possible to retain a shorter fork and chainstay length, keeping the G3: Verne’s geometry compact and agile. Rider feedback over recent years has clearly shown that a fast gravel bike — one that flies on the road while easily handling off-road terrain — is the most versatile category.

The new G3 model brings significant visual and structural refinements. Following the brand’s road model R3: Reason, it features fully integrated cable routing through a shaped head tube with stainless steel cups (IS52/IS52 system). The frame is fully compatible with electronic groupsets including eTap, Di2, and EPS, forming a clean aesthetic unit with the fork. Repete’s signature dropouts have been redesigned: they are now 3D-printed from stainless steel and fully support the UDH standard. This ensures effortless replacement part availability anywhere in the world, alongside direct Full Mount derailleur compatibility for maximum shifting precision.

Customers can choose between two internally routed carbon forks: the Columbus Trefoil Allroad (tire clearance up to 45 mm) or the ENVE All-Road In-Route (clearance up to 40 mm).

The frameset is available in three standard colors (Digger, Birch, Termix). Repete also offers custom paint options, with a palette ranging from pure pastel tones to distinctive shades inspired by the automotive world.

The frame is crafted from Columbus Spirit HSS high-strength chromoly steel (Omnicrom alloy). Triple-butted tubing with wall thicknesses down to just 0.4mm maximizes mechanical strength at the lowest possible weight. Steel naturally provides high ride comfort and vibration damping without material degradation or changes in characteristics over time. Rear-end comfort is further enhanced by flattened seatstays. Stiffness in the bottom bracket area is ensured by oversized tubing combined with a threaded T47 bottom bracket, which also guarantees simple servicing.

All frames are built in Repete’s Prague workshop. The brand emphasizes in-house development of structural frame details and segments, collaborating closely with local Czech manufacturers for CNC machining, stainless steel and nylon 3D printing, and stainless steel casting.

Numbered Launch Edition: To celebrate the release of the G3: Verne, Repete has prepared a limited edition of 10 numbered frames. Customers ordering their frame from this edition directly via the Repete website receive a custom frameset color of their choice at no additional charge (400 EUR value).

KEY FEATURES
Internal Routing
We enhance the upper part of the head tube with a stainless steel cup, allowing for the integration of brake hoses within the frame thanks to the IS52/IS52 headset standard. Paired with an internally routed fork, it forms a sleek, compact unit. The G3 is fully compatible with eTap, Di2, and EPS electronic groupsets.

Stainless Steel UDH Repete Dropouts
For the G3, the iconic shape of our signature Repete dropouts now comes with full UDH compatibility. Integrating this universal standard makes finding a replacement hanger effortless wherever you ride, while fully supporting Full Mount derailleurs to maximize shifting precision and drivetrain efficiency.

Up to 700×45 Tire Clearance
With tire clearance up to 45mm (with the Columbus Trefoil Allroad fork option), the bike is built for broad versatility. Yet it retains its signature agility and precise handling — delivering a lively, responsive ride on unpaved surfaces while remaining fast and efficient on pavement.

Columbus Spirit HSS
It is a chrom-molybdenum steel alloy called Omnicrom, which achieves a high tensile strength UTS=1300MPa and a yield strength Ys≥920Mpa. The tubes are triple-butted and in some parts have a wall thickness of only 0.4mm. This ensures excellent mechanical properties at the lowest possible weight.

Handpainted
The quality of the paint is essential for us. We have been fine-tuning the method with our master painter for several years. The graphic scheme is realized by placing stencils and hand-painting step by step. In-house colour mixing by code enables a large range of colour finishes to be realised — from pastel colours to the most eye-catching pearlescents.

Bottom Bracket T47
We wanted to keep the advantages of the threaded bottom bracket on the frame, which consist mainly in long service life and easy service. The bottom bracket shell T47 has an enlarged diameter with M47x1 thread. Combined with over-sized tubes, the unit forms a stiffer joint, resulting in more efficient energy transfer when pedaling.
Details Matter
We believe that the quality of the product is underlined by the attention to detail. Segments such as dropouts or internal routing elements are of our design, which is why our frames are unique. During production, we pay emphasis on every detail of the hand-finished joint or contact points. We often say that we want our frames to be beautiful even under the paint.

Made in Prague
The frames are manufactured by us in our Prague workshop. This is the only way we can have every step under complete control and achieve the highest quality. We cooperate with local Czech manufacturers in the production of frame segments, whether it is CNC machining, 3D printing or steel casting.
INSIDE THE REPETE WORKSHOP

ABOUT US
Repete is a company with a technological background focused on the production of premium bicycles, whose founders, Robin Fišer and Mikoláš Voverka, have been building the brand since 2012. The entirety of the development and production of Repete frames takes place in the workshop in Prague, but the bikes are available all over the world, through direct sales and in specialty shops. The brand holds the prestigious Best Road Bike award, received at the North American Handmade Bicycle Show. They have collaborated on products with brands such as Isadore, Campagnolo, Posedla, Polymer Workshop, Road Classics and Strava.

The brand operates its own factory racing team, Tempo Vision, and co-organizes road criteriums under the same name. Repete bikes have also conquered the world’s toughest cycling race, Race Across America, as part of the Domestici project supporting palliative care. In addition to producing their own bikes, Repete publishes an online magazine and hosts community activities, such as group rides and public discussions with guests in its Prague showroom.
