Oregon-based wheel and component manufacturer Astral Cycling has released its latest limited-edition offering. The newest version of its customer-favorite rim profile, the Wanderlust, is now available in the dark gray finish the brand refers to as “Stealth.”

The latest Wanderlust profile modernizes one of the company’s long-standing best sellers with a wider profile and a unique semi-aero, 30-millimeter-deep design. Designed for gravel and all-road riding, it accommodates a wide range of tires from 28–50 millimeters. Wheelsets are built with White Industries CLD hubs coated to match and laced with Sapim CX-Ray spokes.

The Stealth finish has long been a staple of Astral’s sibling brand, Rolf Prima. The durable, corrosion resistant Cerakote finish is a deep matte gray. Sales Director Loren Mason-Gere describes it as “classy and unique, yet neutral enough to pair well with almost any bike color.”

This run of Stealth-coated rims was created in conjunction with Astral’s Japanese partner, Circles Worldwide Distribution. Circles is offering an array of Astral’s most popular rim profiles and will soon roll out wheelsets with matching Stealth-Grey White Industries hubs. All rims and wheelsets are handcrafted at Astral’s headquarters in Eugene, Oregon.

While domestic sales are officially limited to the Wanderlust model, Astral notes that custom wheelsets are always available for customers with specific requests. The company expects the available supply of limited-edition rims to sell out quickly, but does not rule out producing another run if customer demand warrants it.

The Stealth Gray Wanderlust is in stock and available now. Wheelsets retail for $1,349, and rims retail for $199.
