Terrain Score provides a road map to choosing the right tire for the best possible experience. The scale, ranging from 0 (smooth such as asphalt, we’re at the border with “road cycling”) to 100 (when the terrain becomes almost impossible with a gravel bike and we’re entering into MTB) breaks out terrains into five “super categories”: Hardpack, Fine Loose, Mixed, Coarse Loose, and Mud.”
“This new classification marks the concrete evolution of a journey that began in 2024 with the launch of the Terreno T50 Mixed, the first model to be named according to the new system. Today, the same approach is being extended to the entire gravel line, standardizing product identification keeping already successful tread patterns. - The journey starts with the Terreno T10 (formerly Terreno Zero), ideal for hardpack, compact and fast surfaces.
- Next is the popular and best-seller Terreno T30 (formerly Terreno Dry), which performs best on fine loose, white roads and most typical gravel trails.
- Then there is the Terreno T50, positioned right in the center of the spectrum — designed to deliver excellent performance on mixed terrain.
- Alongside the T50, we move into more demanding and less smooth terrain, where the new Terreno T60 tire makes its debut in the lineup. It features a tread with more pronounced knobs, designed to ensure grip even on more technical sections.
- After that comes the Terreno T70 (formerly Mezcal), well-known in the MTB world and, for the past few years, also available in gravel sizes.
- The Terreno T80 (formerly Terreno Mix) is the last tire in the Terrain Score range designed for coarse loose terrains.
- Finally, there is the Terreno T90 (formerly Terreno Wet) a tire intended for muddy conditions.

Positioned at the center of the range — leaning toward the right side of the Terrain Score, where grip demands are higher — the T60 is the ideal choice for riders seeking top-level performance on mixed and variable routes.
AIR-LINER LIGHT GRAVEL: THE INSERT THAT ENHANCES YOUR GRAVEL RIDES
To complete the perfect gravel tire setup, the Air-Liner Light Gravel is a must-have. This ultra-light insert enhances riding performance for grip, impact resistance, riding comfort and run-flat, and allows you to keep riding even in the event of a puncture.
Starting from July 10, 2025, a new size compatible with tires ranging from 37mm to 40mm will be available on the market. It joins the existing insert already available for tires from 42mm to 50mm.
- Comfort and stability: The Air-Liner Light Gravel improves shock absorption through progressive compression, enhancing comfort, grip, and smoothness.
