Gone is the choice of two 22L pannier bags to be replaced with the one bag to rule them all. What’s the biggest change (apart from the slimming down of the range)? The new 22L Pannier Bag has had a significant structural upgrade, making it substantially stronger and now fully suited to off-road use. Now you can take your pannier bag from the daily commute to a round the world tour without any worries. – Tailfin Cycling

While the bag retains its lightweight ethos and clean aesthetic, this revision introduces several meaningful improvements:
- New internal frame for increased rigidity and load stability over rough terrain. An interesting feature of the new 22L frame is its hybrid construction, blending a rigid and strong aluminium inner frame with a ‘rim’ of HDPE material which provides some flexibility to prevent damage if you hit the bag on a rigid object.

- Updated clamp mechanism. The outgoing 22L panniers featured our first generation X-Clamp. This has now been changed to the latest generation. Delivering greater strength and security under sustained vibration and impact along with more comfortable ergonomics.

- Improved external compression for improved load management and versatility.
- White interior fabric to improve visibility and make finding kit easier in low light.

- Significantly improved Laptop Holster* now securely accommodating laptops up to 16”
- New fully functional Carry Strap* for off-bike convenience. Seamless foam padding won’t dig into your shoulder. Fully adjustable and reversible; wear it either way. Stays tidy when shortened, won’t flap around. Heavy-duty G-hook clip for secure attachment.
- *Optional extras

The result is a pannier that maintains its class-leading low weight while performing confidently beyond tarmac. From gravel touring and commuting to more demanding MTB based bikepacking routes, the new 22L matches the ride.

This update reflects our ongoing approach to product evolution: refining and strengthening existing designs based on real-world rider feedback.
