“Long before big wheels became the industry norm, I’ve been championing 29ers, launching the 29” Swift in 2006. I was convinced that their proportionate size as well as improved traction, comfort, and speed – made better bikes for most riders. 32” wheels offer the next step up – as someone a little taller than average I’ve been excited to develop a new bike around this wheel size. Today, I’m thrilled to announce our newest model – The Singular Albatross.” – Sam Alison, Founder, Singular Cycles

“The Albatross will initially be available in a small batch, built from titanium – light, lively, and with the kind of ride quality that only properly executed Ti can deliver. It draws upon and elevates all I have learned in developing big wheeled bikes over the past two decades – using these incredible wheels and tyres to create a bike which carries speed and rolls like you can’t imagine.”

Each Albatross will be offered as a rolling chassis, including:
- Albatross frame in 3Al 2.5V seamless Titanium – butted main tubes
- Full carbon Columbus fork
- Hope (White Industries in US) Headset
- A hand-built 32 inch wheelset with a carbon rim upgrade option
- Maxxis Aspen 32″ x2.4” tyres fitted and ready to roll

“By creating this package of the critical parts needed to build a bike of this wheelsize we’re giving riders a great chance to try this new platform with minimal fuss. This means riders can build a bike to suit their own riding needs and personality, while starting from a foundation which is truly special. We are also able to offer full bike builds using our thoughtfully considered complete bike build kits.”

“Pre-orders for this very limited run of rolling chassis are available now, priced at £3450 or $3900. We will offer these in three stock sizes – L, XL and XXL Designed for riders 5’10” / 178cm and above.”
