“The world is changing. Constantly and in many dimensions. Our favorite field has also gained new dynamics. Models, generations—no longer even just model years… creation and production have merged into a single process that rushes forward. However, only time will tell which of these changes will stay with us permanently.” – Antidote Bikes

“As Antidote, over 20 years of creation, we have realized that somewhere between stunning form and pure functionality, there is a golden balance. That some solutions are simply perfect. And also that we are not always aware of all our needs until we feel a distinct absence. Today, we also recognize a broader necessity and the demands placed on the entire industry by sustainable development, ecology, and the widely understood common good. Once again, and in our own unique way, Antidote steps out of the endless cycle of chasing the new for its own sake.”

Pathseeker
“A suspended gravel bike, where we have designed the suspension not as a mere copy of MTB solutions, but to meet the specific demands of its segment. Without hydraulics or complex systems, our solution offers the right amount of antisquat and reliable damping at an optimal travel range. The fork also takes on part of the work, ensuring smooth traction without unnecessarily absorbing pedaling energy. When designing the frame, we developed a composite using four materials: carbon fiber, flax fiber, basalt fiber, and bio-based resin, creating a truly ecological solution—one that works and offers unique advantages. By properly layering these materials and leveraging the characteristics of natural fibers, we have eliminated a significant amount of vibration, which traditional suspension cannot fully absorb.”

“PATHSEEKER represents a new dimension of material synergy. It’s dynamics without loss of comfort. Efficiency with the potential for fun. Sustainability that works and outperforms traditional solutions, shaping the future. This is a bike where you have everything you need and nothing you don’t. Just the right amount, taken from all the bikes in the world. And if you ever have to choose which bike to take to a deserted island, we’ll be confident in our recommendation: Antidote will open new, undiscovered trails for you.”

Suspension
“The growing popularity of gravel bikes in recent years has made suspension systems widely considered in many cases and ultimately highly desirable. Most bikes are equipped with a rigid fork or a classic short-travel suspension fork, whereas rear wheel suspension has, with few exceptions, been mostly omitted.”

“In our solution, we propose a frame with a meticulously developed NanoFlex suspension system and a dedicated fork conceptually integrated with the frame.”

Nano Flex
“NanoFlex is a proprietary suspension system designed by Antidote. There are several rear wheel suspension solutions for gravel bikes on the market, but our system stands out significantly. The key feature of this concept is the direct transfer of MTB suspension principles, meaning it has four pivot points and full lateral stiffness. Two of these points are virtually fixed—traditional pivot axles have been replaced with the flexibility of the chainstay tubes. The remaining pivots function through an eccentric mechanism placed in the front triangle, acting similarly to a cam pushing the shock absorber. The system integrated into the frame allows the components to rotate relative to each other, with the entire structure stabilized by an elastomer. The elastomer controls suspension travel and vibration damping. It is replaceable, enabling a full range of stiffness adjustments.”

“The suspension fork, on the other hand, is an integrated system combined with a carbon fork. It operates using either a spring or an interchangeable elastomer. A convenient lockout mechanism is located in the steerer cap. In the event of fork damage, the suspension-fork system can be separated for replacement or repair.”

Nanoflex was created based on the individual needs of the gravel segment. It is not just a comfort buffer, as is the case with many such solutions, but has the features of a real system that would meet the requirements of MTB:

- The suspension reacts to any type of bump – from small to the biggest impacts
- The suspension works at any speed pedaling has no effect on the suspension
- Braking has no effect on the suspension
- The rear triangle of the frame is rigid, does not move sideways
- The suspension system is laterally rigid
- All construction parts are easily serviceable (replaceable)
- There is a progressive characteristic – the suspension hardens with increasing deflection, which prevents hard bottoming out
- Construction of suspension system is pretty light the design is as simple

Brand Philosophy
“In the age of bicycle mass production and commonplace outsourcing, we are proud that the entire production process of our frames, from the first line on the drawing board to the very last bolt torqued during assembly, takes place in Poland, in-house. We are meticulous in quality control at every step of the way, and being right there, we are able to respond quickly and have full control over the quality of our products. We are thrilled to provide the level of quality that is out of reach for other manufacturers.”

Who is Antidote?
“Antidote is a small boutique company based in southern Poland. Behind the brand are a group of friends – downhill racers and enduro enthusiasts. They are also fascinated by creating unique suspension systems and sophisticated design. The entire process – from creating prototypes, through cutting molds, to laying carbon fibers – takes place in Krakow. Their extensive knowledge of engineering, design, materials science and manufacturing allows them to transform bold visions into top-of-the-range, high-performance bike frames that are sought after all over the world.”
