Fast AF ENVE Gravel Wheels First Look
A lot has changed about the gravel cycling landscape since ENVE launched their first gravel-specific wheelsets in 2018. This is particularly evident with performance-based gravel cycling, or all out gravel racing. – ENVE Composites

Speeds have increased, as have the demands placed upon the equipment. Larger volume tires, wider rims, have all been improvements providing comfort and improved handling, but ENVE has seen these changes as opportunities to cater to aerodynamics on a gravel bike. Three new wheel models are being launched, the G SES PRO 4.5 (49mm deep front rim, 55mm deep rear rim), the G SES 4.5 (less spendy version of the PRO variant), and the bonkers G SES PRO 6.7 (60mm deep front rim, 67mm deep rear rim).
ENVE call it Gravel, Accelerated.

Additional Information
“G SES is where aerodynamics meet the realities of modern gravel. As gravel racing has evolved, the demands on equipment have changed with it. Higher speeds now require larger-volume tires – not only for comfort and handling, but to prevent flats from hidden rocks and ruts in the pace line.”
